Affect Labs is the brainchild of Jennie Lees, an entrepreneur with commercial experience ranging from Microsoft to AOL, who decided to create this business while studying for a PhD at the University of Cambridge. She has been funded by 4iPPSYBT, NESTA and the University of Edinburgh.

Jennie has been supported by Steven Renwick, whose invaluable contributions to the company helped launch FestBuzz in 2009, Annette Kramer and Elise Bramich.

Company advisors have included Adrian Smith & David Walton; the company has also received help and advice from Ewan Mcintosh, Astia, the University of Cambridge’s Ignite programme, and Women 2.0′s Founder Labs and has an army of experienced entrepreneurs on both sides of the Atlantic to call upon in the hour of need.
